Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026.
Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use VoteTracker.
About the service
VoteTracker is an informational dashboard for Quebec provincial election results and Canadian federal election results. It is not official and is not affiliated with Élections Québec, Elections Canada, or any party or candidate. See our Data Sources page for exactly what's tracked per jurisdiction, provided for informational purposes only.
Your responsibilities
For an official or final result, always check Élections Québec or Elections Canada directly — VoteTracker is a tracking tool, not an official source.
No warranty
VoteTracker is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result, projection, or map shown is complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoteTracker and Paul Cote are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or from relying on any result, projection, or map it presents.
Intellectual property and data licensing
The raw results shown are open data from Élections Québec and Elections Canada, published under their own respective licenses — see our Data Sources page for the breakdown per jurisdiction. The projections, analysis, and maps built on top of that data belong to VoteTracker.
Prohibited use
You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt the service, or querying our backend APIs outside of normal use through the website.
Termination
VoteTracker has no user accounts, so there's nothing to terminate on your end. We may discontinue or modify the service at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of VoteTracker after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
